Since there is no Gen Discusion forum, I guess I will say Hello to you all in here.

Hope ya see it? Smile

My name is Rob and I live in upper Putnam County in the great state of New York.

I hunt predators, Flyfish and I like Metal Detect.

Nice place and it's nice to be here. Smile

Do you hunt coyotes?

Not getting winded by them is the key factor.

Unless experienced in hunting them you could actually make them smarter by educating them to hunters and make them harder to hunt than they already are.

Seems to be alot of people here having trouble with yotes and other vermin that arent hunters.

Do you all need some help controlling these nuisances?

I and others would be glad to help

Yes I do....they are a huge problem in my area...finally some farmers are taking up hunting them, that was after calves were being lost to them.

What county are you located in? I am in Putnam County.

I would be glad to help if you are in a reasonable distance?

If I am too far I'm sure I could find someone to help you, hopefully close to your area.

Alot of us are always glad to help and like to get new places to hunt to bring the pred populations in check.

There ARE nuisance allowances out of season for Coyote in NY.

If they are a problem out of season, and with landowners permission, we can kill them.

I would be happy to help.

I pred hunt as a hobby and not a business. I will NOT accept any payment whatsoever nor ask for any.

I started hunting coyotes in retaliation for the continuous killing of my now ex fiance's guinnea fowl and chicken flocks that she raised for controlling deer ticks which were giving lyme disease to her three horses every year.

I now offer to help those that need it for these reasons. #1 because I have been there and seen what these vermin can do. #2 NY DEP will not do squat about ANYTHING, so I will! And #3 because it needs to be done.

I am in Albany county. I posted up some pictures I got on a trail cam. A nice big one walking by. It is not easy to get pictures of them, they are sensitive to scent and flash. I really like the infared cameras. It does not scare them the same as a flash one does. I put the newest ones in the coyote forum.

I went and saw them. Very good pics!

Cameras are great tools to learn their habits and frequency of visits.

I'm sure that one has eaten plenty of fawns and other things around there to get so healthy looking.

As with other yotes, it needs to go.
